For decades, the Jones Family Farms has been celebrating children the last weekend in October. For 39 years, the Jones family has offered activities to raise money for UNICEF, an international children's organization.
This Saturday and Sunday, October 26 and 27, from 11 am and 4 pm*, children can enjoy fun, extra activities at the farm, including pumpkin bowling, pumpkin ring toss, guess-the-weight-of-giant-pumpkin, and pumpkin tic-tac-toe. (*The farm is open from 10 am to 5:30 pm with the additional children's activities running from 11 am to 4 pm.)
Children are welcome to wear costumes! For safety reasons, no full face masks for children or adults.
Back by popular demand, during the last weekend in October is our All-You-Can-Carry Pumpkin special. Carry all the pumpkins you can for 25 feet for one low price $50.
Plus, the White Hills Fire Department of Shelton will be at the farm on Saturday, from 12 pm to 2 pm for children to learn about and explore real fire trucks.
When you make reservations before your visit, you save 25%! Remember that $5 of each entry will be returned to you to put towards half of your pumpkin and gourd purchases - this includes ALL pumpkins and squashes. You can even put your entry discounts to the All-You-Can-Carry Pumpkins special. Plus $1 of each entry the Jones family will donate to UNICEF.
This will take place at Pumpkinseed Hill, 120 Beardsley Road, in Shelton, 1.5 miles from the Jones' winery and tree farm.
Thank you for coming out to support UNICEF, children, and local farms!
