Farm dog Skye naps in a pile of pumpkins

Our farmers' best friends

Our farm is a better place due to the wonderful farm dogs that live here with us.  Representing a variety of breeds, these rescue dogs have found happiness at the farm, and in return they have brought happiness to our farmers. Our friendly dogs do not often see guests, since they are behind the scenes; due to Good Agricultural Practices, they are not allowed in the harvest or wine-tasting areas.

Guests' dogs can only visit the farm during Christmas tree season; dogs must be on a leash at all times. We are sorry pets are not allowed for any other season at the farm nor at the winery; please leave pets at home.

Farm Dog: Skye

Skye

Skye is always ready for an adventurous walk on the farm. Her striking blue eyes are always on the lookout to see what other animals on the farm are on the move.

Farm Dog: Sherlock

Sherlock

Sherlock is a handsome fellow who loves exploring the farm's tree fields. He has truly blossomed into a sweet, happy dog now that he has found his forever home here at the farm.

Farm Dog: Bonnie in the snow

Bonnie

Bonnie is a sweetheart of a dog. She loves a long farm walk, though her favorite activity is swimming.

As we reflect on our agricultural adventures and experiences, I find it exciting to realize that our many environmental practices work in symbiosis with the positive ecological impacts and the economic success of our farm.

I believe this is a critical message for our nation to embrace.
