three baskets of strawberries

Strawberry baskets, boxes and kid's pint.

Jones Strawberry Basket

Jones basket full of strawberries

Size: 2 quarts; 2.5 pounds approx.

This is a great container for children and families so everyone can have their container.

Everyone entering the fields should pick one of these baskets; or can share a Jones Berry Box with up to four people.

Children between 2 and 9 years of age can pick their own basket, share a basket with one person, or share a box with up to four people.

You keep the basket after picking. It can be reused many times! When you bring back your Jones Berry Basket and fill it, receive $1 back at the farm.

Jones Strawberry Box

Size: 6-8 quarts; 8-10+ pounds

Up to 4 people may share a Jones box (adults and/or children). When you bring back your Jones Berry Box and fill it, receive $2 back at the farm.

For the most up-to-date pricing on baskets and berries, please see the online reservations.

Other Important Details

Please note, that only Jones picking containers are allowed in the field.

If you have a specially tagged Jones container to help you harvest when in your picking lane, these containers must be empty when leaving the field, or you must pay for the additional berries at exit. There are no berries allowed in other containers or clothing, etc.

Our pricing accounts for slightly mounded containers. Boxes and baskets should not be so full that berries are dropped and wasted while walking.

Boxes and baskets cannot be lined or covered with any materials, except for a simple piece of paper towel at the bottom of the box, brought from home if desired.

Kid's Pint

Size: 1 Pint; 3/4 pound

Perfect size for blueberry season for children 9 and under.  All children should have a container or share with one other person. But if a basket is too big for them, the Kid's Pint keeps them actively picking with their own container.

As we reflect on our agricultural adventures and experiences, I find it exciting to realize that our many environmental practices work in symbiosis with the positive ecological impacts and the economic success of our farm.

I believe this is a critical message for our nation to embrace.
